Help Kids India supports the work of the Betsy Elizabeth Trust (BET), an Indian non-profit organization. HKI funds three BET preschools serving a total of 170 children who live in poverty, most of whom are Dalit (Untouchable). HKI funds pay all school operating expenses, including salaries for twenty-seven staff. Additionally, HKI provides funding for food assistance, utilities and maintenance, student uniforms, transportation, auditor fees, administration expenses, and necessary building projects.
